Monday night – cancelled

Hi all,

Just a quick one to say this Monday (9th) is cancelled. See you the week after!

Lots of love

Nick

Hey Friends!

I’ve just finished recording and filming 7 songs which are now up on YouTube. The series is called UnCut Sessions…. here’s one of them below;

The rest of the videos can be found at www.youtube.com/KevinRoweMusic. I need maximum exposure with these videos. All hits (views) and comments on the YouTube vids massively increase my chances of gaining a good investor for the album!

On that note – if you haven’t bought 10am yet, what on earth are you waiting for?!

Love you all loads – xxx

Introducing Reuben

Graeme and Debe would love to introduce Reuben Peter to you.    Reuben was born on Saturday 10 October weighing 8lb 5oz.   A very special son for Graeme and Debe and brother to Esme and Isaac.

Hi everyone – hope you all had a good weekend. Just a reminder that we have Paul Skelton and Steve Hughes from the HOTS Team (Healing on the Streets) joining us on Thursday. They will share ‘hot off the press’ stories of what God has been doing on the streets, give some training and pray for healing. It should be an excellent evening. Try not to miss it!

We are planning to be at the Rechouse (Church Rooms) in Twerton in time for 7.30pm. We’ll let you know in good time if the venue has to change. Otherwise, hope to see you there.

Hi all,

Just a note to say we won’t be meeting at Jon and Lorraine’s tomorrow as Lorraine is not feeling well. Please pray for her if you have the chance.

Lots of love

Baptisms

Hi Everyone

This is to let you know that the Baptisms that had been planned for this coming Friday (2 October) have been postponed. There are a few wanting to be baptised but the date has not been working out so we will come back with a new one as soon as possible. We will let you know the new date as soon as we have it fixed.

Thank you

Hi everyone. We just wanted to say thank you to you all for the love and understanding you have shown us over the past 2 weeks since mum was taken into hospital and then went to be with the Lord. Your texts, cards, emails and calls have both touched and strengthened us. We are blessed to be surrounded by such a lovely bunch of people.

The last week leading up to mum’s death was one of the most special times of my life. Dad’s loving devotion and mum’s sweet spirit shone through as I have never experienced it before. God was very near to us all as a family. Mum died peacefully and at peace with God, herself and her family. It was what the ancients would have called ‘a good death’

The Cremation, followed by a service of thanksgiving is tomorrow. It will be a special time because we are all at peace, even in our loss, and we know that mum is with Jesus, which is a far better thing. Please pray especially for my dad, he is doing well but is grieving the loss of his wife and lover of 63 years. Please also pray for me that I will share my heart and conviction freely at the services, and in a natural way clearly re-present Jesus and the hope that is within us. There will be many who do not share the certainty and hope we have. As I said to Chris after we had heard the news of mum’s condition: “It is a good thing to be able to look death straight in the eye with no fear and filled with hope. That is an amazing gift.”

Where O death is your victory, where O death is your sting? Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 15:55)

Releasing the Kingdom

Just to let you know that the next Releasing the Kingdom session will be on Thursday 1 October, at 7.30 pm and will be held at The Spot (on the grounds of Twerton Infants School).   Please look at the calendar on the website for the dates for the rest of the series.

Any queries please be in touch.

Tuesday evening

Just to say that our home is open Tuesday 22 September from 7.30.  Just a time to gather and share together, with a pudding or two;-)

If you are able to come it will be great to see you.

Making the Bible Alive

From 14th October until further notice, the subject on Wednesday nights will be what we’re calling “Hebraic Roots Stuff”.  We’ll be looking at understand the Bible in its original context; what parables and idioms would have meant to Jesus’ orginal Jewish listeners and how and why these things are often lost to us.

Each week will stand-alone.  So you can come to whichever weeks you want.  But the more you come to the more you’ll get out of them and see the broader picture they present together.

We’ll continue meeting from 6.30pm with dinner and bread and wine at a cost of £2 per head, finishing by 9.30-10pm.  All we ask is that people let us know if they are coming by the night before.

Anyone is welcome (Grace or non-Grace, church or non-church).  And if you can’t make Wednesday nights but something monthly another time in the week would be of interest, let us know.  We’ll arrange something if we can.
