Some words for the church and nation of England……

Since the summer we have received what we believe to be some significant words from the Lord concerning what He is doing and bringing to our nation. We have shared them with some other prophetic ministries and weighed them alongside other prophetic words we have either heard or received. We finally believe it is right to begin to declare them openly and more widely. I am posting them as they were given. Please give careful consideration and prayer concerning them. Whatever you think of these things, 2011 will be an important year for us and all God’s people.

“England awake!  Rise up you sleeping giant.  You have slumbered long enough.  It is time to rise up and shake off the chains that have bound you.  No longer shall you be imprisoned, immobile and indifferent.  No longer shall your light lie unseen, unknown and unwanted.”

“Awake!  Some have said you are defeated, never to rise again.  Some have said you are despairing, never to hope again.  Some have said you are dead, never to live again.  But I AM the Lord of victory.  I AM the God who brings hope.  I AM the Lord of life.  I tell you it is time to WAKE UP and turn your dreams into destiny.  It is time to WAKE UP and remember who I have called you to be.”

“Once you brought hope and life to nations.  Do you think my plans for you have changed?  England, while you have lain paralyzed and frozen beneath the weight of fear; while apathy has dragged you down into a sickly sleep; I have not ceased to work in you.  As you have slumbered I have raised up a generation of warriors – old, young and yet to be born.  As I have raised them, so now I call them and release them.  Now is the time for them to walk the land with MY fire in their eyes, with MY power in their hands and with MY love in their hearts.”

“England – you sleeping giant WAKE UP! Warriors of the Living God WAKE UP!  As you wake, as you walk, as you wage holy warfare with love, joy and laughter in your hearts; see how the gates of the enemy will fall before you.  See how MY power and MY presence blazes up from North to South, from East to West, every nation will see and declare that I the Lord your God am a consuming fire in the midst of you.” (September 2010)

Earlier this month Giles received the following in a waking vision:

‘It was as if I was standing on the summit of an incredibly high mountain – far higher than any mountain on the earth.  I was aware that on the slopes of the mountain the most beautiful city ringed the summit.  All the buildings were made of what looked like crystal and gold, and they glowed with a sort of internal light which was indefinably bright and pure.

A voice spoke to me and said “Look down upon the face of the earth and see what the Lord Almighty is about to do.”

I looked down and it was as if the whole surface of the earth was shaken in a single mighty convulsion. The only thing I can liken it to, was as if someone had taken hold of one edge of a sheet and shaken it.  Then it was as if my vision focused in on the British isles, and I could see that somewhere out in the ocean the sea was rising.  I thought of what Andrew had heard about a wave coming, and I saw that indeed a mighty wave was rising and rising and rising.  I have seen visions and had dreams of tsunami waves before, but the wave that rose now and swept towards Britain was far bigger.  I don’t know how big it must have been, certainly hundreds of feet high at the very least, but actually I think it may even have been thousands of feet, because I can remember thinking that once the wave hit land it was going to engulf everything, even the highest mountains.

I don’t know how long I watched, but it seemed like quite a long time as the wave got nearer and nearer to the land, but eventually I realized that it was curling over like the classic surfer’s wave and that the top of the wave was going to fall down on the land before the base of the wave engulfed it.

Then the wave hit with a roar that I cannot even begin to describe, and the entire island of Britain was completely engulfed and overwhelmed. Then as I watched it seemed that a white hot pillar of fire descended upon England, and where it touched the water, the water itself was transformed into liquid fire.

I was astonished to see that people were still inhabiting the land, that they hadn’t been swept away.  Even the cities and towns were still there, but now they were different, transformed into something shining and glorious.’

Then the voice spoke again and said:

“Hear what the Lord Almighty says to his beloved.”

“Now is the hour of decision.  Now is the hour of choice. Now is the hour for My beloved to decide; what is the one thing you will follow after? I AM the God who is Holy.  I AM the wave that washes away everything from your lives that cannot stand upon my Holy hill.  I AM the all consuming fire.  Now is the hour for my beloved to arise and walk the land in holiness and power. Now is the time for My presence to be your one and only heart’s desire.”

“Do you think that this is something I am asking you to do?  No My beloved, this is something I have done, am doing and will do.  You have clung to rituals, devised beliefs,  built structures and systems, as if you can make yourselves holy; as if you can make yourselves immune to the everlasting burning.  But I tell you there is only one thing fire cannot consume, and that is fire itself.  Have I not promised you, that you will walk through the waters and not drown?  Have I not promised you that you will walk through the fire and not be consumed?  As you pursue Me and nothing but Me; as you carry My presence and nothing but My presence, see how I set you ablaze.  See how even now the tip of the wave crashes down upon you; the wave that is living water and Holy fire.  Will you run away?  Will you hide yourselves?  Or will you cast yourselves into the flames?  You are My Holy ones.  You are My burning ones.  You are the fire upon the altar.  You are the white hot coals I send out from my throne room.”
